Lowe's Big Rig Rolls Over Near San Antonio's Loop 1604

A man is lucky to be alive after a Lowe's big rig rolled over onto his pickup truck. The man was stopped at a light on Hausman Road near Loop 1604 in San Antonio when a car swerved in front of the big rig. The driver of the big rig swerved to avoid a collision, which caused the big rig to roll over onto the pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was well enough to be able to crawl out of his vehicle after the collision. The driver of the Lowe's big rig was uninjured.

Vehicles Recalled Due To Fire Hazards

While there's a risk of fire after an accident, it's not something we expect from a supposedly perfectly functioning vehicle. Even though newer vehicles are using alternate power sources like batteries, automobiles have been historically powered by gasoline, a fuel source designed to burn incredibly efficiently and quickly. Car manufacturers pride themselves on creating the safest vehicles, citing numerous crash safety ratings on their advertisements, but how often do their products need to be recalled due to combustion hazards?

Workplace Explosions: How And Why They Happen

No one ever wants to experience a workplace injury, but what happens if the worst comes to pass? While not all workplaces are equally susceptible to workplace explosions, if you work an industrial job with plenty of machinery around, it's a grim possibility. In 2014, 137 people were killed by fires and explosions at work according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in its National Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries. Some of the areas that are at the highest risk of a workplace explosion include manufacturing plants, mining operations, construction sites, chemical plants, and oil and gas industry extraction and production areas.

The Anatomy Of A Personal Injury Case

An accident can change your life in the blink of an eye. Motor vehicle crashes, poorly devised products, and improperly maintained equipment all have the potential to cause serious injury or even death. When you are involved in an accident, your immediate priority is to recover or mourn a loss. It can be difficult to think about legal ramifications. However, as reality sets in, you may realize the practical consequences of an injury, such as loss of wages and suffering. That is why you need a qualified personal injury attorney on your side!

How Do You Get Carbon Monoxide Poisoning?

Carbon monoxide poisoning occurs when too much of the gas enters into your system. Burning fuel-gas, kerosene, charcoal, or oil emit carbon monoxide.
