Austin, TX – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on I-35

Austin, TX (November 25, 2021) – One person has lost their life following a crash early Sunday morning, November 21. At around midnight, authorities were called to the scene of a crash on Interstate 35.

Reports from local authorities show that a pedestrian was traveling in the area of Interstate 35 and Parmer Lane when they were struck by a vehicle.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and closed off several lanes of the interstate.

The victim sustained severe injuries in the accident. Medical personnel with the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene to render aid to the victim. However, they were pronounced deceased on-site.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Austin Police Department.
