Brookshire, TX (October 21, 2021) – A plane crash reported on Tuesday morning in Waller County ended in injuries. At around 10 a.m., on October 19, authorities were called to the site of a crash near the Houston Executive Airport.
Reports show that a McDonnell Douglas MD-87 was traveling to Boston for the American League Championship Series. As the plane took off from the Houston Executive Airport, it crashed near Farm to Market Road 2855 and Morton Road.
The impact of the crash caused the plane, which had 21 people on board, to catch on fire.
Two people on the plane sustained injuries. Both victims were rushed to area hospitals for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
