Anderson County, TX – Fatal Crash on Highway 84 Takes One Life

Anderson County, TX (October 5, 2022) – A fatal crash took place in Anderson County on Sunday that claimed the life of a 31-year-old man. On October 2, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a crash on Highway 84.

At approximately 6:09 a.m., a 2015 Nissan Sentra collided with a 2013 Ford F3 50 pickup truck on Highway 84 just one mile west of Palestine, Texas.

The driver of the Nissan, a 31-year-old man from Lindale, Texas, suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 45-year-old man from Jacksonville who was driving the Ford suffered injuries in the crash. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash at this time.
