Rear-End Crashes in Texas
The worst accidents are rear-ended collisions since you frequently are not aware that one is about to happen. You will catch yourself off guard if you are keeping your eyes in the rearview mirror. Even an accident traveling at 30 mph can cause significant harm. A 160-pound person wearing a seatbelt would be subjected to 1.6 tons of force in an accident at that speed. The force increases to 12 tons when a seatbelt is not worn.
