Atascosa, TX – Woman, Child Hurt in Collision at Wisdom & Greenwood Rd

Atascosa, TX (March 16, 2023) – On Wednesday, March 15, a collision in Atascosa resulted in two confirmed injuries. 

The accident took place at the intersection of Wisdom and Greenwood Roads at around 11 a.m. It was reported that a woman was traveling behind a vehicle hauling a trailer on the roadway when she crashed into the trailer. The impact crushed her entire car. 

The woman was airlifted to Brooke Army Medical Center, and an 8-year-old passenger was taken by ambulance to University Hospital. Both sustained serious injuries, but no further updates have been provided at this time. 

No other injuries were reported. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
