Belton, TX (January 21, 2023) – A traffic accident reported in the Belton area claimed one man’s life on Thursday evening, January 19. Just before 5:10 p.m., the police and firefighters responded to the scene of a crash that took place in the Christ the King Catholic Church parking lot.
According to officials, a white Nissan frontier and a silver Ford F150 pickup truck collided in the 210 block of East 24th Avenue during the evening hours.
One person involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
