Dallas, TX (July 3, 2022) – A woman and young child have lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident reported in the Dallas area on Wednesday evening. Just after 415 p.m., on June 29, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35.
Reports provided by the police show that a pickup truck was traveling on Interstate 35 eastbound when it crashed into the rear end of a car near Interstate 635. The impact of the crash caused the pickup truck driver to lose control and crash into a pillar.
A 34-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. A seven-year-old male passenger was transported to children’s Dallas Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
This time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. No other injuries were reported.
