Now in 2022, we continue to see innocent people die as a result of these accidents. Many accidents happen because of common causes. Speeding, failing to yield, impairment, distractions, and disregarding traffic control devices are all common causes of car accidents in Texas.

Speeding is the most common cause of car accidents in Texas. A large percentage of pedestrian accidents in Texas are caused by speeding. Failing to yield is another common cause of pedestrian accidents. When you’re driving, it’s important to give the right of way to pedestrians and to stop at stop signs and red lights. If someone else doesn’t stop, it can lead to severe injury or a fatal collision

Impairment is another common cause of pedestrian crashes here in our state. If you are impaired by drugs or alcohol, you may not be able to drive safely.
