Dallas, TX (February 24, 2023) – A Dallas police officer was injured following a high-speed chase in the Dallas area on Tuesday, February 21.
The incident took place at the intersection of Beckley Avenue and Commerce Street at around 5 p.m. A driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when they crashed into an unmarked police car. The officer inside was injured and transported to a local hospital.
The at-fault motorist was arrested and taken into custody. No further information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
