Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

Dallas, TX – One Injured in Pedestrian Crash on N Cockrell Hill RdEach year, more than 700 people lose their lives in pedestrian accidents. Thousands more are left with serious injuries that negatively impact their ability to work and perform various tasks. When people suffer spinal cord injuries, broken bones, and traumatic brain injuries, they often require emergency surgery and long-term care. To make matters even worse, many people never fully recover. Instead, they are left with permanently disabling conditions.

When drivers speed, fail to yield the right of way or engage in other acts of negligence, they place the lives of other people sharing the road at risk. Pedestrians, in particular, are more likely to suffer life-threatening injuries in crashes because they are unprotected. Having to take time off work, go through months of therapy, and deal with lifelong consequences can dramatically impact your quality of life.
