Dallas, TX (February 27, 2023) – Two Dallas police officers were hurt after being involved in a crash with an intoxicated motorist on Monday, February 27.
The collision took place at the intersection of Ross Avenue and Field Street early that morning. The two officers were headed north when they were hit by a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Henroc Davila-Beltran. One of the officers was treated at the scene, while the other was hospitalized for further aid.
Beltran was also hospitalized. He was later charged with driving while intoxicated. No further information has been supplied at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
