Del Rio, TX (November 18, 2021) – An auto accident reported on Monday morning ended in injuries, according to local news sources. At around 7 a.m., on November 15, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash outside of the Laughlin Air Force Base.
Reports from authorities show that a tanker truck collided with a train on US Highway 90 in front of the air force base during the morning hours. The impact of the crash caused the truck to explode.
One person involved in the accident was injured. The victim was transported to Val Verde Regional Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
