El Paso, TX (January 30, 2023) – A man was left injured following a traffic crash that took place in central El Paso on Saturday morning. On January 28, the El Paso Police Department and area firefighters were called to the scene of a crash on Piedras Street.
According to authorities, two vehicles collided at around 10 a.m. on Piedras Street at the intersection of San Jose Avenue. The incident blocked off the road, causing delays throughout the area.
The police and firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and went to work, removing the damaged vehicles and debris from the road.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident to provide care for the victims. One person suffered injuries that required further medical care. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where they were admitted in serious condition.
The El Paso Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
