Car Accidents in Texas

El Paso, TX – Three Hospitalized after Crash on Stan Roberts Sr Ave near Martin Luther King BlvdMotor vehicle accidents take place far too often in the state of Texas. Unfortunately, tens of thousands of people end up being victimized annually as a result of crashes in our state. In many cases, these accidents are entirely preventable. Unfortunately, we continue to see innocent people forced to endure overwhelming consequences due to drivers who engage in reckless and negligent actions.

Some of the leading causes of crashes in our state include:

  • drivers who are under the influence of alcohol while behind the wheel
  • drivers who are impaired by drugs while operating their vehicles
  • drivers who are using their cell phones to talk or text while behind the wheel
  • drivers who speed and travel too fast for road conditions
  • drivers who are reckless

When motorists engage in these and other reckless and negligent actions while operating their vehicles, they placed the lives of other people sharing the road at risk. These and other acts of negligence cause significant injuries to victims. We see many people hospitalized with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other severe injuries that demand both immediate and long-term care.

When innocent people are harmed in accidents, they may have legal options available to help them move forward. Injured parties should seek the legal assistance of a car accident lawyer in El Paso right away.
