Flint, TX (November 6, 2021) – Authorities in Smith County were called to the site of a bus crash that sent two people to area hospitals with injuries. At around 6:45 a.m., on November 4, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Texas State Highway 155.
Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety show that a school bus with the Bullard ISD was traveling west on Farm to Market Road 344 when it collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Texas State Highway 155. The impact of the crash caused the bus to roll over onto its side.
The driver of the bus and the driver of the pickup truck both sustained injuries in the accident and were transported to UT-Health East Texas- Tyler for care.
