Fort Worth, TX (January 28, 2023) – A man has died as a result of a car crash that took place on Wednesday evening in the Fort Worth area. On January 25, the Fort Worth Police Department responded to a traffic crash on Wichita Street.
According to law enforcement, just before 7 p.m., a 57-year-old man was walking north on Wichita Street when he was struck by multiple vehicles in the area of Martin Street.
Two of the vehicles stopped after the accident. A pickup truck involved in the accident fled the scene.
The pedestrian was severely harmed in the accident. He was transported by EMS to John Peter Smyth Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The Fort Worth Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the accident. No other injuries were reported.
