Fort Worth, TX – One Killed in Car Crash on Highway 287 near Berry St

Fort Worth, TX (February 4, 2023) – One person has died as a result of a car crash that took place in the Fort Worth area on Thursday evening. On February 2, the Fort Worth Police Department responded to the site of a traffic crash that took place on Highway 287.

According to law enforcement, at around 11:02 p.m., a vehicle became disabled on Highway 287 in the area near Berry Street as a result of icy road conditions.

A vehicle passing through the area stopped to provide assistance. As the driver attempted to push the vehicle from the highway onto the shoulder area, they were struck by a third vehicle passing in the area.

One person involved in the crash was severely hurt. The victim was transported to a hospital in Fort Worth, where they died from their injuries.

A second victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the traffic accident are currently being investigated by the Fort Worth Police Department.
