Harris County, TX (September 20, 2022) – An automobile accident reported early Saturday morning has claimed the life of one man. At around 2:30 a.m., on September 17, emergency crews were called to the scene of a vehicle collision on Sam Houston Parkway.
Investigative reports provided by law enforcement show that a white Lexus was traveling south in the 8800 block of East Sam Houston Parkway North. For reasons unknown, a gold Toyota entered the lane in front of the Lexus. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Toyota and the driver of the Lexus were both injured in the crash. The two victims were transported to an area hospital. The driver of the Toyota later passed away from his injuries.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office’s Vehicular Crime Division is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
