Homer, TX (December 7, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Homer area on Saturday evening left several people, including a young child, injured. Just before 8:40 p.m., on December 4, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on US Highway 69.
Reports from authorities show that a 2013 Ford pickup truck towing a boat trailer was traveling north on US Highway 69. At the same time, a 2002 BMW passenger vehicle was traveling on the same road in the same direction. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided in the area near Loop 287. The impact of the crash sent the BMW into the opposite lane where it crashed into a 2020 Ford SUV.
The driver of the BMW, 35-year-old Galan Davis, was transported to St Luke’s Health Memorial for care.
A 6-year-old child, 56-year-old Steven Clark, and 51-year-old Cara Clark were all transported to Woodland Heights Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
