Houston, TX (October 12, 2021) – A major motor vehicle accident reported on Monday afternoon in Harris County ended in injuries. On October 11, emergency crews were requested to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on North Sam Houston Tollway.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between six vehicles blocked the tollway during the afternoon hours. The impact of the crash caused a black pickup truck to burst into flames.
Firefighters responded to the scene and closed off the roadway. Crews went to work on extinguishing the fire and clearing the scene.
Emergency medical services rendered aid to victims briefly on-site before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals.
