Houston, TX (May 3, 2022) – Authorities were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident in the Houston area that left one person injured. At around 3 a.m., on May 1, the Houston Police Department was notified that an auto wreck on Airline Drive required assistance.
Reports from authorities show that a Houston Police Department officer was stopped at a traffic light on the northbound side of Airline Drive when it was struck by a second vehicle. The second vehicle then crashed into an SUV at the intersection of Airline Drive and Little York Road.
The driver of the SUV was injured as a result of the accident. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
