Houston, TX (January 11, 2023) – A Harris County crash was reported on Monday evening that claimed the life of a pedestrian. The Harris County Constables were notified at approximately 6:15 p.m. on January 9 that a car crash took place on East Freeway.
According to law enforcement, a male pedestrian was pushing a shopping cart from the north side to the south side of East Freeway, in the 15,400 block of the service road, when you are struck by a Toyota Tacoma.
The driver of the Toyota fled the scene of the accident without stopping.
The pedestrian died as a result of the injuries that he had suffered.
At this time, the Harris County Constables are investigating the incident.
