Houston, TX (October 22, 2022) – A pedestrian has died as a result of a traffic accident that occurred in Harris County. On October 20, emergency crews were dispatched to an auto wreck on Cypresswood Drive.
Reports from local authorities show that a man was driving in the 21000 block of Cypresswood Drive at around 6:15 a.m., when he struck a dog with his vehicle. He pulled over to the side of the road to check on the animal.
After exiting his vehicle, he was struck by a white Chevrolet Malibu, which was traveling north on Cypresswood Drive near Farm to Market Road 1960.
The pedestrian was fatally injured in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
