Houston, TX – One Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Fuqua St near Beamer Rd

Houston, TX (May 19, 2022) – A pedestrian accident that took place on Wednesday morning in the Houston area has claimed one person’s life. At around 9:30 a.m., on May 18, the Houston Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a crash on Fuqua Street.

Reports from HPD show that a pedestrian was traveling in the area of Fuqua Street and Beamer Road during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle.

The driver pulled over and remained at the scene.

The pedestrian suffered severe injuries in the accident. Authorities responded to render aid to the victim, identified as a male victim. However, he passed away from his injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
