Houston, TX (March 24, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Houston area ended in injuries. At around 5:30 p.m., on March 22, the Houston Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 45.

Reports provided by authorities show that a collision involving six vehicles, including one semi-truck, occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 45 in the area near Spring Cypress Road.

The incident caused severe delays on the southbound side of the roadway as crews closed off several lanes.

One person involved in the accident was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
