Houston, TX (March 10, 2023) – On Friday morning, March 10, a woman was hurt in a fatal collision in the Houston area.
The deadly crash was reported at the 117000 block of Tidwell Road near Valley Forest Drive at around 5:17 a.m. It was revealed that the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu was either fatigued or intoxicated when he veered into oncoming traffic. The Malibu crashed head-on with an oncoming Camaro.
The 32-year-old man driving the Malibu sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman driving the Camaro was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present.
An ongoing crash investigation is in progress.
