Hurst, TX – Motorcyclist Dies in Major Auto Wreck on I-820

Hurst, TX (June 22, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Hurst area has claimed one person’s life. At around 12:40 p.m., on June 20, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 820.

Reports from authorities show that a truck and a motorcycle collided on the northbound side of Interstate 820. The incident caused severe delays in the 700 block of the roadway as emergency crews closed off the area while working to clear the scene.

One person involved in the crash suffered fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Several people suffered injuries as a result of the collision and were transported to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
