Katy, TX (January 12, 2022) – A deputy with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday evening in Katy.
At around 6:30 p.m., on January 11, an HCSO deputy was responding to an urgent call regarding a missing child in Katy. As the vehicle was traveling west on Franz Road, it collided with a Chevy Van at the intersection of Mason Road.
The impact of the crash caused the deputy’s vehicle to spin around and overturn.
The deputy sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for care.
