Kilgore, TX (April 27, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Gregg County on Wednesday took the life of one person. On April 27, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on US Highway 259.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between two vehicles occurred on US Highway 259 just south of Danville Road. The incident caused delays in the Kilgore area as crews worked to clear the scene.
At least one person involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
