Lavon, TX (March 17, 2023) – Six children were hurt after a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in the Lavon area on Thursday morning, March 16.
The accident took place on TX-78 near the exit for Main Street, and it was reported that a school bus was headed southbound on the highway when it was hit by an SUV. A total of six students on the bus were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the SUV sustained serious injuries and was also hospitalized. No additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
