Lubbock, TX (October 24, 2021) – One person was left seriously injured following a two-vehicle accident in Lubbock on Friday morning, October 22.
At around 8:30 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety was requested on-site at a crash on Slaton Highway, US Highway 84. Reports show that a semi-truck tractor-trailer was driving north on US Highway 84 while in the left lane. As the vehicle attempted to turn onto County Road 7200, it was involved in a collision with a passenger car.
The driver of the car sustained serious injuries in the accident. The victim was transported to University Medical Center for emergency medical attention.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
