Lubbock, TX (May 23, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in Lubbock early Saturday morning has left one person severely injured. Just before 2 a.m., on May 21, the Lubbock Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 50th Street.
Reports provided by the police show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in a parking lot near 50th Street in Frankfort Avenue. The pedestrian sustained major injuries as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services rushed to the scene of the crash and rendered aid to the victim before transporting them to a local hospital.
