Lubbock, TX (June 2, 2022) – A pedestrian accident that took place in the Lubbock area left one person injured. Just before 1:30 p.m., on May 31, the Lubbock Police Department and firefighters were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Reports from authorities shallow that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the main lanes of the Marsha Sharp Freeway near University Avenue.

The pedestrian sustained significant injuries in the accident. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for emergency medical care.
