Lubbock, TX (May 28, 2022) – One person has lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Lubbock area. On May 16, the police and firefighters in Lubbock were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident on up Boston Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a person was riding a scooter in the area of Boston Avenue and Second Place. For unknown reasons, the rider was involved in a collision with a Dodge Durango SUV.
The rider on the scooter suffered severe injuries in the accident. The victim was transported to University Medical Center for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that the victim later passed away after arriving. No other injuries were reported in this accident.
The police department is currently conducting an investigation into the accident.
