Lubbock, TX – Three Injured in Car Crash on Highway 84

Lubbock, TX (January 26, 2023) – A traffic accident took place in the Lubbock area on Wednesday evening that resulted in injuries for multiple victims. At around 4:30 p.m. on January 25, the Lubbock Police Department responded to a traffic crash that took place on Highway 84.

Preliminary crash reports provided by the police in Lubbock show that two vehicles collided on Highway 84 during the early evening hours.

The police and firefighters both responded to the scene of the accident and immediately secured the area.

One person had to be extricated from their vehicle due to being trapped inside. Firefighters went to work on removing the victim as medics provided care to two other patients. The third victim was rendered aid once removed from their vehicle.

The three victims were provided with transportation to local hospitals by EMS.

The police department is actively investigating to determine what led to this accident taking place.
