Midland, TX – Eight injured in Greyhound Bus Crash on W County Rd 127

Midland, TX (August 9, 2022) – A Greyhound bus accident reported in Midland County left several people injured. At around 9:30 a.m., on August 8, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash that occurred on West County Road 127.

Police reports indicate that a Greyhound bus failed to yield the right-of-way while exiting a pilot truck stop located on West County Road 127. As a result, the vehicle collided with a Nissan Frontier.

A total of eight people involved in the crash were injured. Six passengers on the Greyhound bus were transported by Midland Fire and EMS to Midland Memorial Hospital. The drivers of both vehicles were also injured. The two victims were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital for further care.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash at this time.
