Midland, TX (June 19, 2022) – At least one person has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Thursday evening in the Midland area. At around 5 p.m., on June 16, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Highway 80.
Reports from the police show that two vehicles collided on the westbound side of Highway 80 in the area of Loop 250. The crash created severe delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
At least one person involved in the crash suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The total number of injured victims is not known at this time.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
