Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
Motorcycle accidents in Texas take the lives of hundreds of people annually. The majority of these accidents are a result of motorists who engage in actions that are reckless and negligent while behind the wheel. There is a certain amount of care and consideration that is required for drivers traveling near motorcyclists in our state. When drivers fail to act responsibly, they can cause severe and life-changing accidents. Unfortunately, we see countless motorcyclists in our state killed or injured as a result of negligent drivers. In many cases, we see countless innocent people suffer life-altering injuries due to drivers who fail to pay attention to their surroundings.
The unfortunate truth is that motorcycles are much smaller than other vehicles. As a result, motorists often have a difficult time seeing them while traveling nearby. We see many motorcycle accidents take place as a result of blind spot accidents and drivers switching lanes recklessly. Additionally, tailgating and speeding continue to be leading factors in these fatal accidents.
