Rusk County, TX (April 19, 2022) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in Rusk County left one person severely injured. On April 18, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Highway 322.
Reports provided by the Crims Chapel Volunteer Fire Department show that a semi-truck and a white SUV collided on Highway 322 in the area of County Road 243A.
The driver of the SUV sustained severe injuries in the crash. The victim was extricated from their vehicle and airlifted to a local hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
