San Angelo, TX (January 29, 2022) – A multi-vehicle collision reported on Friday morning in the San Angelo area left one person injured. At around 10 a.m., on January 28, the San Angelo Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a crash on Abe Street.
Reports from the police show that a Chevrolet Equinox and a Dodge pickup truck were both traveling west on West Beauregard Avenue. At the same time, a Honda Accord left the CVS parking lot near Abe Street. As the vehicle ran a red light through the intersection of Abe Street and West Beauregard Avenue, it caused a collision between the three vehicles.
The driver of the Dodge was transported by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center for the treatment of injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
