San Angelo, TX (May 30, 2022) – A major wreck reported in the San Angelo area on Thursday evening left two people injured. On May 26, the San Angelo Police Department and firefighters were notified that an automobile accident took place on US Highway 277 that required assistance.
Reports provided by authorities show that a Jeep was traveling south on US Highway 277 when it became involved in a collision with a Ford Ranger near Grand Canal Road.
Both drivers sustained injuries as a result of the accident and were transported to area hospitals for care.
