San Antonio, TX – Crash on W Commerce St near S Callaghan Rd & Tom Slick Ave Leaves Three Injured

San Antonio, TX (September 18, 2022) – Authorities in the San Antonio area were called to the scene of a vehicle collision on Thursday evening that left several people injured. At around 6:30 p.m., on September 15, officers with the San Antonio Police Department were dispatched to a vehicle collision on West Commerce Street.

Preliminary reports show that three vehicles collided in the 9000 block of West Commerce Street during the evening hours. The police and San Antonio firefighters responded to the site of the accident and blocked off the roadway. The crash caused delays between South Callaghan Road and Tom Slick Avenue.

Emergency medical services were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene. At least three people suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were transported by ambulance to medical facilities for further treatment.

The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the crash at this time.
