San Antonio, TX – Man Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Wurzbach Parkway near Wetmore Rd

San Antonio, TX (October 23, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the San Antonio area ended in injuries. At around 3 a.m., on October 23, the San Antonio Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Wurzbach Parkway.

Reports from the police show that a collision involving a wrong-way driver occurred on the westbound lanes of Wurzbach Parkway near the intersection of Wetmore Road during the morning hours.

The incident caused some disruptions in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.

One man in his mid-20s became trapped in his vehicle and had to be extricated by responding firefighters. The man was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
