San Antonio, TX – Man Loses Life in Crash on I-35 near Zarzamora St Off-Ramp

San Antonio, TX (July 3, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in the San Antonio area claim the life of one man on Friday evening. At around 1030 p.m., on July 1, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35.

Reports provided by the police show that a male pedestrian was walking across Interstate 35 when he was struck by a vehicle near the off-ramp for Zarzamora Street. The victim, identified as a 50-year-old male, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. He was pronounced deceased by responding officers.

The driver of the van remained at the scene and spoke with law enforcement. No other injuries were reported.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
