San Antonio, TX (January 20, 2023) – A traffic accident was reported on Wednesday morning in the San Antonio area that claimed one man’s life. On January 8, the San Antonio Police Department reported to the scene of a crash on South WW White Road.
At approximately 7 a.m., a man was walking in the area on South WW White Road when he was struck by a vehicle just south of Interstate 10.
The pedestrian, who was identified as a male between his 30s and 40s, was fatally hurt in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers.
The driver of the vehicle, which is believed to have been an SUV, fled the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
