San Antonio, TX (August 7, 2022) – A vehicle collision reported in the San Antonio area early Saturday morning left several people injured. At around 1 a.m., emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash that occurred on La Cantera Parkway.

Reports from local law enforcement show that a motorcyclist was traveling on La Cantera Parkway during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, the motorcycle collided with an SUV near Rim Drive. The impact of the crash caused the rider to be ejected from the vehicle. The motorcyclist was thrown through the back window of the SUV.

A total of eight people were inside the SUV at the time of the accident. The motorcyclist, one adult in the SUV, and two children inside the SUV all suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

The four victims were rushed to area hospitals, where they underwent emergency medical care.

The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the crash at this time.
