San Antonio, TX (June 26, 2022) – A drunk-driving accident left one person with injuries on Friday evening in the San Antonio area. At around 10:45 p.m., on June 24, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Hansford Street.
Reports from authorities show that a Nissan was traveling in the 200 block of Hansford Street during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed over the center lanes and struck a motorcycle head-on on the westbound side of the roadway.
The motorcyclist, a 66-year-old, was severely injured in the crash. The victim was rushed to a local hospital for emergency medical care.
The driver of the Nissan appeared to be intoxicated at the scene. The driver was subsequently arrested.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
