San Antonio, TX (June 5, 2022) – One man was hospitalized following a hit and run accident in the San Antonio area early Saturday morning. Around 2:40 a.m., on June 4, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 10.
Reports provided by the police show that a 40-year-old man was riding a motorcycle on the eastbound side of Interstate 10, in the 5000 block, when he was struck by a black pickup truck. The pickup truck then fled the scene of the crash.
The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident and was rushed to a local hospital where he was admitted in critical condition. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
