San Antonio, TX (June 12, 2022) – A female police officer was transported to an area hospital with injuries as a result of an accident that took place in the San Antonio area. At around 3:40 a.m., on June 9, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a crash on Loop 410.
Reports from the police show that a Mazda SUV was attempting to turn onto the access road of Loop 410 when it became involved in a collision. A tow truck driver then stopped to assist the driver near Summit Parkway.
For unknown reasons, a police cruiser became involved in a collision with the tow truck.
The officer was injured as a result of the accident and transported to a local hospital for medical care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
